Overworked. Overwhelmed. Permanently switched on.
Somewhere along the way you became the person who handles it. The one who replies at 11pm. The one who never drops the ball. It got you promoted. It built the business. Then it stopped being what you do and became who you are.
That is why nothing you have tried has held. A new app cannot beat an identity. Neither can a holiday, and you proved that the last time you took the phone with you.
So the week repeats. Your best hour goes to the inbox. Dinner happens while someone you love talks to the back of a laptop. Sunday evening arrives with the dread already loaded.
None of that means you should want less.
You love your work. You are good at it. You want more success, not less. You just want it in less time, and you want your energy, health, relationships, and most of your evenings and weekends back while you get it.
That is a problem worth solving.
Where to start
Not with another productivity tool. Start with the identity. Ask yourself one question this week, and answer it in writing: who did I have to become to get here, and is that person still the right one to take me where I want to go?
Sit with the answer. The first honest sentence is the one to work with.
